Welcome! I’m Sandra Wilson, a UK-registered Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. I specialise in working with adults and children who experience misophonia or extreme sound sensitivity.
DOES YOUR MISOPHONIA FEEL VERY OVERWHELMING AND DISTRESSING?
If everyday sounds trigger strong emotional reactions in you, it’s absolutely not your fault — and working with me could help reduce the intensity and recovery time of your reactions so life feels more manageable and enjoyable.

You may notice unwanted and distressing emotions like rage, panic or disgust whenever you hear the sounds that trigger you - these can include other people eating, sniffing, breathing, coughing or even the way they speak. Thank you for fantastic therapy to help relieve me of the anger I felt whenever anyone ate in front of me. I wasn't sure what was going to come up in the sessions but I was pleasantly surprised with how they enabled me to be okay with people eating now. You are a very patient and skilled therapist who gave me the space and time to learn about myself and why Misophonia was a problem in the first place. I felt heard, relaxed and at ease.

I discovered Sandra through YouTube on my journey of wanting to try to deal with Misophonia. She was a very calming influence and I always felt safe discussing my Misophonia with her. My sessions really helped to reshape the way I view things and how my brain functions. I do believe it's helped greatly with my Misophonia. Thank you so much Sandra

I'm really happy that I found Sandra. She really understands what it's like to have the condition and very quickly got to grips with my issue. She's so friendly and approachable, I immediately felt at ease with her. The hypnosis recordings she followed up our sessions with were tailored exactly to me and my needs and have been so helpful. I've felt the benefit straight away but I honestly feel like a different person now. I'm more in control of my Misophonia and although I might not ever be 'cured' I feel so much calmer and freer. Sandra has given me some peace back and I can now choose how I want to live, rather than letting myself be ruled by my fear.
